The Bourbonauts, based in Louisville, Kentucky, formed in the summer of 2009 and have been a staple at local clubs, weddings, and private events since then.

 

Initially focused on covers, The Bourbonauts began incorporating original songs into their sets, resulting in the release of their debut EP, As Simple as the World, in 2019. ​

In 2025 they released their first full length album, These Shadows Have Teeth.
